Store coupons
Pharmacy (Advertising and Promotional) coupons

Soft drink container caps
The following are guidelines and limits:

Walmart only accepts coupons for merchandise we sell and only when presented at the time of purchase.
Coupons should have an expiration date and be presented within the valid dates. Walmart will not accept expired coupons.
Internet coupons should be legible and say "Manufacturer Coupon." There should be a valid remit address for the manufacturer and a scannable bar code.
Only one coupon per item is permitted.
Use of 40 or more coupons per transaction will require approval by Customer Service Manager.

Click here to view the current coupon policy at Walmart. It might be a good idea to print and take with you as to avoid any misinformed cashiers.

RE: Walmart Coupon Policy
Wow! I was excited to receive an interesting email from Patty, a reader, regarding the Walmart corporate coupon policy. She was at Walmart the other day and was able to use a $5 off Kohls coupon (she received this for signing up for their email offers).

Why would Walmart let her use this coupon?
Well, check out what their coupon policy states:

Dear Patty,

Thank you for your recent correspondence regarding the acceptance of coupons at Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart accepts the following types of coupons:
- manufacturer coupons (Cents Off)
- free merchandise (or manufacturer's Buy-One-Get-One-Free) coupons
- store coupons (which come from specific store chains such as CVS, Kohls, etc)
- internet coupons
- soft drink container caps

The following are guidelines and limits:

WalMart only accepts coupons for merchandise we sell and only when presented at the time of purchase.

Coupons should have an expiration date and be presented within the valid dates.

WalMart will not accept expired coupons or double/triple coupons.

Internet coupons should be legible and say "Manufacturer Coupon and there should be a valid remit address for the manufacturer and scannable bar code.

For 'Free' merchandise coupons, customers will not receive cash back -- the cashier will adjust the value of the coupon to the actual retail of the item at the time of sale.

In addition, only one coupon per item is permitted and use of 40 or more coupons per transaction will require approval by a Customer Service Manager.

Sincerely,
Walmart Customer Care

Did any of you know this or have experience with this? I honestly had NO clue that Walmart would be willing to accept other store coupons! I am super excited and am planning to head on over to Walmart with their coupon policy in tow and give this a try! I mean think of all the store coupons we could use to maximize the savings at Walmart--Target coupons--Rite Aid $5 off $25 coupon--CVS coupons and the list goes on!

Has anyone tried this at Walmart. I seen this blog about other store coupons and cut and pasted it here.
Any thoughts?

RE: Walmart Coupon Policy
There may be a time when you run into an uneducated cashier or even manager when it comes to coupon use. For these situations it is best to know the current policies and even to educate the store staff when they decide to make up their own rules regarding coupon use, unintentional of course!

Here is the corporate number to clear up any hassles.

RE: Walmart Coupon Policy
I have called Walmart's Corporate office about the "in store" coupons. They told me they do take in store coupons, however the coupon must say the orignal price of the item. Not just be money off. Smile So basically the Walgreens, Rite Aid, and CVS ad coupons.
