This is how you can get the RA ads early
Go to the RA site
Click the weekly ads type your zip code Then........click on the picture of the ad---it will make it bigger Then take your mouse and place it over the picture of the ad......RIGHT CLICK Once you right click......the first option is "view image".......click that now look at the very last part of the URL this weeks ad looks like this: 2010_03_21/e/01l.jpg That is the DATE, leave the 03_ but then replace the 21 with 28 and next weeks ad will show up. The other last numbers are the pages.......01, change that to 02 and it will bring up the second page. Sometimes they are as much as 3 weeks out and other times not. ENJOY |

I tried this but it didn't work for me... When I right clicked I didn't have the option to "view image." Is there a special place on the ad to click? Any ideas that might help?

I got it to work!
Ok you click the ad, it makes it bigger than right click and view image (should be the first choice) THen in the url, ( words in the address bar) Make the date change and the pg change and each page will come up separately take a look at the url's below. YOu can simply copy that if you want then change the date or page numbers. This is page 1 for 5/2 http://content.riteaid.com/www.riteaid.c...ge_images/ 2010_05_02/e/01l.jpg Page 2 just change 01l.jpg to 02l.jpg http://content.riteaid.com/www.riteaid.c...ge_images/ 2010_05_02/e/02l.jpg page3 http://content.riteaid.com/www.riteaid.c...ge_images/ 2010_05_02/e/03l.jpg for the week of 5/9 pg 1 http://content.riteaid.com/www.riteaid.c...ge_images/ 2010_05_09/e/01l.jpg pg 2 http://content.riteaid.com/www.riteaid.c...ge_images/ 2010_05_09/e/02l.jpg and so on....please let me know if this works.... The links I put are not complete bc I had to put a space in it so you could see the entire url. That is why they are not working.
See if this link works http://content.riteaid.com/www.riteaid.c.../e/01l.jpg then practice changing the end of the url to view more pages, other dates. I would love to help you figure this out, below you can copy the link (highlight it and do control c) Then paste in your browser (control v), you will need to change the hxxt to http I put hxxp so you could see the entire link, the changes you will make are at the end of the url.. Do you see the end where it says: 05_02/e/02l.jpg If you change the 02l.jpg to 03l.jpg 04l.jpg for dfferent pages and for the next week you change 05_02/e/02l.jpg to 05_09/e/02l.jpg do you see what i mean? hxxp://content.riteaid.com/www.riteaid.com/c-content/page_images/2010_05_02/e/02l.jpg hxxp://content.riteaid.com/www.riteaid.com/c-content/page_images/2010_05_02/e/03l.jpg hxxp://content.riteaid.com/www.riteaid.com/c-content/page_images/2010_05_02/e/04l.jpg Let me help you Save

Thanks! it worked with your links... I think I will just have to save them somewhere so I can do things that way. I was able to view the ad for 05/09! I am going to try a bit later this week and see if I can se 05/16 since it does not seem to be available yet.
I also just found this on Another site (posted by nomadicpixie) : "It depends on your browser. Some people have to right click then click on properties. Other may have "open Image in a New Window". Hopefully everyone can find what works for them best." When I right clicked and chose properties the url came up and I was able to paste is to my browser and change the appropriate numbers! Thanks! |

Thanks! I think I get mine on Sat....but the links above help get it a few weeks early....I will be able to get them in early with the new development. BUt right now its all I can to get matchups out by monday
