On your first trip CVS go up to the register and request an Extra Care Rewards Card. You will simply fill out a form and receive your red card on the spot! You will immeditatly begin to start your CVS savings adventure.

* Rewards are called Extra Care Bucks ( ECB ) that you can earn at any CVS/pharmacy store or online when you use your ExtraCare card.
More info on this Here

Cash Register Tape
ECBs print at the end of your receipt as well as CRTs. Also there is a red machine located near the entrance or near a first isle. You can always ask the cashier where the Coupon Machine is that you can scan your ECB Card at. This little machine will print out coupons for you. Most often you should hold onto these for a while for the specific item as these usually print a week or 2 before there is a great sale or free after ECB.

It is important to follow a coupon order. The order in which you hand the CVS cashier your coupons just to ensure it all totals alright.

1st Any $$ off any $$ (ex $5 off $25) usually a CRT
2nd Any CVS or AD coupons
3rd ECBs
4th Manufacturer Coupon

A moneymaker is any item(s) you can purchase where your amount spent OOP(out of pocket) is less than the amount you get back in ECB's. As you progress your moneymakers will help you to "grow" your ECB's.

**If you are starting out brand new these are the deals you want to look for first so that your initial OOP is as low as possible. It is not important what these items are and whether or not you can or will use them. They are merely a means to an end which is getting your dollar amount in ECB's as high as possible with little OOP.
