It cost nearly $400 but a lot of the smaller stores would love to have the space. I also hace a cedar closet that is 6 x 10 in the basement I am working to convert to storage for mainly Paper goods and non kitchen items. As time goes on and my wife still allows me to go shopping I will be adding more. I can't wait for the last two kids to move out, have plans for their bedrooms Smile

I don't like store shelving. My husband is very good at building things, so I guess I look at as..why pay for that cheap thing when he can build a much better one at home. We have scrap wood that we use for stuff like that, and we have a full size basment. Kinda nice Smile I wonder if he can build some sort of "storage room" in the basement rather than just shelves all out in the open. When people come over they call it our "mini store" lol.

The basement works great for storage, cool and out of the way

we store in our garge, but have a full basement, maybe i need to move my stock pile, we have several rubbermaid shelving units that we store hoiday stiff on that we got a menards for less than $20 a peice i think they are like 4 shelves high or any combo, (we have them as 2 high) ive seen book shleves at good will for cheap, that would work well, i joke with my hubs that i need to get a price gun so im rotating my stock.
