So I will be the first to admit that not every savings trip is smooth sailing. But when you are able to execute your plan of action flawlessly….you feel victorious!

I had so much fun at Walmart today getting over $150 worth of product for FREE!! Yeah!! 106 ITEMS!!

I hadn’t been shopping in Soooo long but when I saw the shelves were more than stocked, I was ecstatic to be able to use every coupon I had without clearing the shelves! AMAZING!

It felt so great to finally score such a bounty of products I needed!

**I paid only tax for a receipt that would’ve totaled $157.66 with tax included!
I know tax can be a drag but in this case, it was more than worth it!

I kindly grouped the like items together, explained to the cashier that I had a lot of coupons and if she wanted to scan the coupons after each like group or whatever might be easiest to her. She agreed and we got the job done!

I paid close attention and everything went smooth until the last coupon….one short. Since the register had prompted for the manager to come over anyway we counted the pampers coupons and sure enough, missing one. We got it all straightened out and I was on my way!

Never let crabby cashiers get your down. Stand your ground and get your deals!!!

Great job. This is the is about the same stuff I bought a few weeks ago Also bought several Tag books that were free w/coupon. Took me a few min to convince the cashier it was "okay" to get free stuff. I just go through my coupon binder and walk through Walmart real quick grabbing whatever is free w/coupon. Im going to try selling my overstock this year at my garage sale. It will be super cheap. Enough to make me a little money but also save people who don't have time for coupons tons of money to. If it works this may be my new job.

Sometimes I buy multiple papers when the weeks are really good. But I also DD for coupons and that is how this walmart trip was possible.

Okay, so, I go into the Supercenter last night to use up the rest of my $1 off Tide coupons on the travel size Tide priced at 97 cents each. I grab 21 (all they had) and go the register. I have 21 $1 off Tide coupons. The coupons state "$1 off ANY Tide Detergent". It does not specify a size or say "Not valid on trial sizes". So, I hand the cashier my coupons and as expected she calls over a CSM. The CSM refuses them at first and then says she will call the manager. She comes back and says because my coupons say "one per purchase" they can only ring up one at a time. One per purchase does not mean one per transaction. UGHHH!!! One per purchase means one per item. If it was one per transaction it would say "one per transaction" or "one per order". After she tells me this I ask her, "Well, how many am I purchasing". Her reply, "21". ME, "Okay, so if its one per puchase and I am purchasing 21 that means I can use 21 coupons". She says no we have to ring up one at a time. I said NO! You don't. Please call the manager up here. By this point I'm frustrated...1 because I have this issue every time I go there and 2 because these people do not know how to READ. The manager comes up and I explain it to him and he said yes that’s correct and informed the cashiers it was okay and it also states in their store coupon policy you can use one coupon per item. I was nice about it, but firm and to the point. I said to the manager, "I know your coupon policy and you know your coupon policy, why don't your cashiers?" It is so frustrating and it’s mainly Wal-Mart that acts like that about coupons. Don’t they realize they get money back for those coupons and an 8cent handling fee for every single coupon. I get there is fraud out there, but don’t treat me like a criminal every time I walk in the door because you can’t figure out how to get a great deal. When all was said and done after 20 min of b.s. because people can't read, I got my 21 pks of Tide for Free Have I said how much I don't like Wal-Mart? I wouldn't have gone there, but I had to I only go there for the free stuff. I go about once a month with armed with their store coupon policy and a bunch of coupons I didn’t get a chance to use, but will expire soon, and usually these items are free/cheap at Wal-Mart.
