for Me carring all of those coupons ends up costing me money. I won't buy something unless I have a coupon or planned on buying before heading to the store. I feel for you with the kids Stef, My daughter which I got hooked on coupons has 8 kids and hits walgreens often with all of them as long as the walgreens parking lot will hold a bus. She is real quick in the store.

As I filer myself there have been quite a few times that I have found a great clearance deal and didn't have the coupon but knew I did at home. There were many times I was going back to get the deal and time went on and I never went back.

That is why now I clip a few I think I may use and its the best of both. A few times I did go back. But I am in the place now where I just have too much that I don't feel the need to grab every deal. Which is a great feeling and took me a long time to come to that place

I tried clipping and since I DD for coupons it was impossible to keep up with for me, but it works SO well for others. Its all about finding what suites you the best.

I agree Melissa that those clearance items are a valid reason to bring those extra coupons. But I don't shop well, i guess is the best way to put it, I'm in and out of the store as quick as possible. I am in trouble with the wife all of the time for it but that is the way I shop and why my wife and I do not shop together. I encourge people to carry and file what ever coupons they wish to carry, I only let people know how I shop and Save. We all do it a bit differently.
