Meijer - Mperks Program! Clipless coupons to save even more!

Add me to the ranks who created facebook acct for the sole purpose of getting coupons. I passed on a lot of coupons at first but finally I couldn't resist. I didn't know you could create an alias.....and because it seems like everyone uses facebook....I joined the "in crowd" I guess LOL.
But I will NEVER understand HOW texting has caught on. Maybe it is because I actually know how to type---but texting just seems like it would be tedious and annoying. I want a whole keyboard. Or, just call the person! Texting is blocked on my phone because believe it or not....you can get SPAM text messages and they cost you money! Lesson learned---texting option on my phone is blocked.

how would anyone know if you used an alias, they dont ask for id i just wished i used a fake birthday too. i think it shows on myprofile and i havent figured out how to change it.

Used both the $5 and the$2 mPerks without issue...even purchased an item that I had a coupon loaded for and forgot!!! Does anyone know if u buy say 3 of the same item, does the coupon come off 3 times or just once??

Per the FAQs on the website, each coupon is only valid once.

i signed up, and now i have a few questions.

i noticed there is a coupon for vitamins, do i only get this once? what if i buy 10 vitamins will it take 10? it wouldnt make sense for me to only get one with 3 kids, one bottle last 10 days. it appears to me i can only clip it once.

when i check out, i just enter my phone number? i dont have to enter the code they text me? i thought reading about it i entered a code, the vidoe said phone number. oh please help. i am confused.

I have a question too. I tried to go to the mperks site to see if there were new coupons since I didn't add all of the ones that they sent me the first time, can I go back in or am I done once they sent me the text. I think I will fill out the info again and see what happens.... I'll report back

Each coupon will only come off once, so if you buy 10 vitamins, you'll only get the vitamin coupon once.

When you check out, all you'll need to receive your e-coupons is the cell phone number you registered with. The code they texted you is just to make sure you own the phone and that you're not just using a random phone number. On a side note, you can have one account for each cell phone number you have. For example, my husband and I each have an mPerks account now.

To answer teetee's question, I believe once the e-coupons are gone, they're gone. Once they're off the site I don't think there is any way to load them.

I'm in no way an expert. I'm just answering the questions based on my own experience and the way that other retailers' e-coupons work.

I don't like that they are using cell phone numbers. I think that this is just a cheap way for Meijer to set up this system (e.g. they don't have to generate, mail cards, etc.)
Nothing prevents someone from "rolling the dice" and entering your cell phone number and taking advantage of a coupon like the $5 off of $5 that was recently available....there is no pin or anything....you just type in your cell phone number.
