Meijer Mealbox Coupons

I was going through the lane with a lot of Q. when it got to the zip lock containers -I had 4 manufacturer Q and 4 meijer Q and I was using them in conjunction with each other.

well the cashier said that I couldn’t do this. I said that I had been doing it for yrs- and that the meijer Q say ‘ one Q per item ‘ not per purchase. still he persisted that he couldn’t do this because he had just got in trouble for doing it. so the manager came over and told me that u can not do this. I told her that I had been shopping meijer for about 4 years and prior to that I had worked at that store- and that I had seen people pair up manufacture Q with meijer Q- and that in less things have changed within the last week you were able to do that. I had so much problems with the guy that I told him to just take off all the zip lock off the order- and give me my Q back and I will do them all as separate orders. And while all this is going on people behind me are getting mad - at me. Before this was finished I had 2 people actually pick up their things off the belt and go to another lane, So the cashier gives me back all of the meijer Q -but none of my manufacturer Q back, saying that he will just keep those on my order. so then I had to fight with him to take off all of the zip lock Q off my order -(he seriously thought that he was like doing me a favor by letting me keep the manufacturer Q on but giving me the meijer Q back so i go on trying to tell him that it would not come up at the same price ), so in the process of taking off all the zip lock Q from my order he tries to take off other Q from my order- even though I pointed out to him that that Q was for something else -he wouldn’t stop trying to take it off!! Then the manager came back and told him that that Q was for something else. Also I needed a rain check for the OB tampons .I thought that they were BOGO instead they were B2OGO. So when I realized my mistake - he turned the rain check into a get one free- but when I told him that I also needed a rain check- he couldn’t get it .so I just left- so then he was like’ what about ur rain check’?!

then I had to go to the service desk and get the tampons figured out- to which I told her that I had another Q for the tampons - get this she told me that u can not use a Q on a free item !! (yeah right I know better but I just let it slide)

back to the zip lock -I was going to go to the check out just multiple times to get my stuff- they actually made me walk all the way out of the store before I could purchase the one order- and I had to keep on doing this about 4 to 5 times for all that I wanted.!! So I left what I still had to purchase in the store said bye to them- left turned right around and then came back in -got 2 zip locks and checked out. then the cashier asked if I left the store with un- purchased items! so then I had to explain to her that I left then picked them up (hello I am not that dumb)
so then I ring up my order -and she tries to tell me that I cannot pair a manufacturer Q with a meijer Q- I tell her that u can, so then she called and got permission to- then we did the little dance of me doing the same thing four more times.

BE WARNED THAT MEIJER Q POLICY IS THAT- NOW U CANNOT USE MORE THAN 1 MEIJER Q PER ITEM- OR PURCHASE- FOR THE SAME THING (no shouting intended)

because of all the fixing and hassle that I had to put up with it took me over half an hour more to get done shopping.

What do u think should we complain to cooperate?

I will check with My Contact, the Meijer Mealbox coordinator. At this point, there is NO NEW policy! I was assured that when Meijer does change the policy they will notify me. The only thing Meijer is trying to change with the MB coupons is that they want to do a coupon.com thing with them so that there will be limits but this is NOT IN EFFECT yet and will be a while. And you will still be able to combine MB with MQ
If you went to the Plainfield Meijer they are notorious for this. They are always uninformed including managers and seem to make it there objective to make every coupon customer miserable. I had to go to plainfied yesterday bc I was out that way and wanted to get some lysol. I was very lucky to find some!! I got 20 cans of neutra air for free using MB coupons along with MQ. I can post my receipt a little later.

Quite often we have a problem like this where the store is wrong, and like to make up there own policies from day to day. I would send an email to corporate and then I will follow up with one on your behalf. The store does have a right to restrict amounts as well as refuse coupons. Why they would want to who knows. This matter WILL BE corrected.

Please share what location this was so I can include that in my correspondences. When I have notified them of a problem in store they are very good at getting the emails out and making it right. I am so sorry for your experience and will get to the bottom of it

Super saturday sale I used two Q's for my items! I think it just depends on what cashier you get. In one Kmart I was able to use certain coupons off total purchase and at another Kmart I wasnt.

well i talked to coperate- or at least i tried to about that store

the 1st person that i talked to was very nice and said that i could leave a msg for this melinda person to call be back- but somehow i got disconnected so i called back and that 2nd person didnt seem to understand what i wanted so she just keept refering me to that stores director

so i then talked to a rick (who i remember from working at that store - i didnt like him) but he said that he would call me back after talking to the manager

does any one know:

with a BOBO sale -can u only use 1 Q or can u use 2Q?
if u r getting an item free can u use a Q on that item?
i always thought that u could

if the store has a BOGO sale and u have a BOGO Q and were to use it what happens?
do the sale and Q cancel each other out or do u get 2 free items?
wouldnt they just cancel each other out.

On BOGO sale and a BOGO coupon they do cancel eachother! I know CVS will allow this. some Meijer will and some won't. This is a policy that is different from Meijer to Meijer. Please PM me with the store you visited that would not allow you to combine the coupons.

well as far as corporate goes I FINALLY got it solved

Sunday - had problem and talked to Theresa then I had to jump through there hoops to get the zip lock I wanted

Monday - called corporate - 1st person I talked to was going to patch me through to a corporate person but before I could leave a msg I got disconnected somehow- 2nd person I talked to at corporate told me to try to talk to the store director at the store- #312

Tuesday - I called and talked to rick klooster and he said he would check into it but never called me back

Thursday- I called the store and talked to a Susan and she knew even less (she was trying to tell me that u couldn’t use a manufacturer Q with a meal box Q !! ) then she told me that she would check their policy so I hung up and called corporate. the corporate lady took down what my problem was then connected me to Susan from the store that I just talked to!!
she did say that u could pair up a manufacture Q with an meal box Q
however she read the policy to me it was like :one meal box Q per item for the transaction.- to which they interrupted to be :one meal box Q per item per transaction
to which I told Susan that if it meant that- then that would mean that it would be: one meal box Q would be per purchase and that if this were the case then how come the meal box Q say "one meijer discount Q per item"

so I called back corporate and told the person who answered that I have been getting the run around and that I do not want to deal with the store but that I want to talk to the person who makes up the Q policy - so the operator took down my name and #

she called me back and she said that it was ‘ridiculous’ that meijer made me go in and out of the store just to purchase that zip lock and that pretty much everything I was doing was fine and that I sounded to be a ‘savvy shopper’
however I guess that since each meijer store DOES have the right to limit the overall amount of one specific item purchased. I guess that same policy gives them rights to limit how may meal box Q u can us per group of the same item (I guess someone was trying to buy a shopping cart full of zip lock )

but in case I have a problem she gave me her personal #

so in can u have a problem just call corporate and ask for patty (she does the meal box Q)

Patty is so awesome at getting things fixed with the MB. Her last name is Schanski. Did she give you something in writing you can print and take with you? I have been trying to get something in writing and everytime she just calls the store and makes it right. But it would save us all the time if we had something to show on the spot. I'll work on that.

she said that when u print out the meal box Q- that that little bit about how if the Q get cut in half.... is what the Q policy is.

i think that anytime i want to use more than 1 MB Q that i will shuffle up all of my Q then use self scan and make sure that one of the first Q that i use is MB Q
that way the cashier is so busy and then will probly just scan the Q herself and deal with the MB Q as they come up (and then how many of these Q i am using wont be so noticeable)
