They changed the MB coupons to help with misinformed cashiers!!

Hopefully that will help at my Meijer store. Love Meijers deals but HATE checking out. I hate to explain the Meijer's Coupon Policy to a Meijer's employee. One time I had to explain the policy to a store manager! She actually told me that Meijer's only allow you to use 1 like coupon per transaction. Not the mealbox coupon manufacturer coupon. I spent 40 min at the check out line!

Can't wait to get a copy of that from corporate. Keep us posted

It is Meijers coupon policy to accept competitor manufacturer coupons. I just wanted everyone to know that Walgreens Register Rewards are manufacturer coupons.

I usually go through the U scan but tonight I wanted to just be sure so I went though the checkout and asked the cashier if there policy excluded RR and she said no, they have accepted them for a long time the manager said that as long as the RR says Manufacturer Coupon AND it had an address where it was to be sent AND they scanned, Meijer would absolutely honor them!!!!!!!!

Well guess what I got tonight!! Christmas presents!! A friend of mine even bought a Meijer gift card with them. She asked the head cashier who stated the exemptions were only for wags. It is a YMMV.

And not only that...the RR's scan without cashier intervention at the UScan!! (We all know how nice that is )

Keep in mind that while some Meijer do accept wags RR as competitor coupons, others do not. It is important to know your stores policy regarding this.

Yes, I went tonight and spent RR on Christmas presents as well. No Problems. But I know Grandville specifically told me they will not accept these and Jenison Meijer does accept them so it is important to know the policy at the store you intend to shop at.

Jenison Meijer is where I went. If you go there and should you have problems ask for Alicia W. she was the first one to approve RR as competitor coupons for me a while back. Jackie is awesome too! The cashiers their are awesome too!

When accepting coupons, Meijer uses the following guidelines:

* We accept two kinds of coupons; Meijer issued coupons and manufacturer coupons.
* Only one manufacturer coupon and one Meijer coupon for the same item will be accepted (unless prohibited).
* Mealbox coupons are considered Meijer coupons.
* We accept all valid internet coupons. See store for details.
* We reserve the right to limit quantities.
* If the value of the coupon is more than the price of the item after discounts or coupons are applied, the value of the coupon will be applied up to the price of the item.
* We do not apply the excess value of a coupon to the order total if the value of the coupon is over the price of the item after discounts or coupons are applied.
* Only coupons for products carried in our stores will be accepted.
* All coupons should be given to the cashier while you’re checking out and cannot be applied to a previous purchase.
