At the stores I go to, you have to order a certain amount of things. They won't let me order just a few of different things. I think that you have to buy things by the case and I typically don't get a case of any one thing.

I am not going to worry about it. I will get what I can. Thanks though.

I inquired once awhile back with one of the friendly managers, and was told they could order but the order wouldn't come for maybe a month... Our store seems to have some that love coupons and some that don't, and keeping people on the same page is near impossible...
I have scaled back on the amount of things I get now that everyone thinks they can be extreme couponers... Stock does stink at our store (I was majorly surprised they had Capri-sun for that deal) and the "competition" isn't worth the fight for things and then having coupons expire before the raincheck can be filled... I get what I can, and I'm happy with it (most of the time).

i wish you guys could get to my meijer, when i tell them i want something extra, they add to the order already in and hold back what i wanted in the back with my name on it. i find any worker on the floor and they go get my box. very easy, no hassel. normally it only takes a day or two. however, i have never asked for a huge order and i dont do it often.

before TLC aired its show, i wasnt the only that couponed but no one cleared the shelf. now everyone is couponing or someone is clearing the shelf all the time. if is annoying and plenty of times i had to tell myself 'its for the better, someone helped me save money today'

Things weren't bad at my stores until that stupid show reared its ugly head. I could go on Saturday and still be able to get what I want. Now, even if I go at 6 in the morning the day of the sale, I am not able to get what I want. There is a shelf clearer that takes it all as soon as it is out.

I do have a few friendly "inside guys" who will go to the back and get something if they were told to hold some items for later in the day. They know I am not going to clear the shelves and I am very friendly to the employees. That really does go far.

I went again today. There were 6 pizzas! I bought 4 again. Whoever is buying them all must not like supreme.

I bought 8 soups even though none of us like soup. I had seen that they had mushroom soup so I mostly bought those. I figured I could use them in recipes that want canned soup as long as it does not matter if the soup is watery.

And I found out something that is awesome to me. Green giant boxed veggies counted as a box top! I bought 3 since we love them and they are a 10 for 10 item. I had only rang up 8 of my box top items when I started scanning my boxed green giant veggies but the box top coupon printed!

I think the btfe prints as soon as u hit 10 of any btfe items. Btw--they restocked pizzas around 11am Smile

But the boxed green giants are not suppose to be a box top item! With coupon they are $.67 each ($2) for 3.

I went today and was able to get all that I needed. I was surprised. The freezers had gone all wonky so there wasn't a big pizza section. I had to look around for them for a while. They were pretty stocked, so I got 8. Then came back around to switch a few supreme for pepperoni and they were all gone. There was at least 100 of them. I am glad I got those first.

At the checkout (uscan) someone had left their box tops certificate laying on the top of the machine. I grabbed it before the cashier came to throw it away. She asked what I took and I told her it was box tops and she said that if I were to go over to the trash can by the cashier station, I may or may not find some more. After I checked out, I went over and checked it out. There were 8 more in there. I was thrilled. I left with 14 certificates.
