Did Meijer shopping today. Deal on Irish Spring Bar Soap and on Body Wash. Current Catalina offer WYB 4 Irish Spring items. I think Catalina ends on 2/4?
Four 3-pk bar soap $7.96 ($1.99 each)
less $3 (four 50-cent MQs from 1/29 SS; first 2 double up to $1, other two at face value)
Pay $4.96.

Also noticed that Irish Spring Body Wash is on clearance for $2.65, they had multiple varieties. DH only likes the original scent, so that is what I bought:

i am looking through the meats and produce to see what is a decent deal, i really cant find anything except the oscar mayer lunchmeat is decent if you buy 8 packages.i have been very disappointed in the lack of meat that meijer has had on sale for the last few months. if they dont pick up the pace soon, i may have to go to wal-mart for my beef.

i can understand the produce not being a great price it is a seasonal product, however, the apples at 99 cents a pound is going on my list. the selection is still pretty week.

I don't think I have any beef or pork in my freezer. I need to watch Kroger's ad better since Meijer has been a joke lately.

Here are some important notes from my trip today...
The yellow mustard on sale 2/$3 is the 20 oz which does not qualify for the MBQ. The regular price of the 14oz is 1.55 at our store, so only .05 more.

The deli-fresh sale is AWESOME! Full stock on all of it. I bought 8 and I will warn you- at our Lafayette store, after you scan the first 2 coupons for $1/2- the last 2 beep and say "too few items". They sent Cathy out to argue it. She said you didn't buy enough. "Really?? I bought 8. The coupon is for $1/2 so I should be able to use 4. So if I didn't buy enough- then how many do I need to buy?" She didn't have an answer- so she manually put it in. It is stupid ridiculous anymore... Anyway- $7.92 for 8 packs of lunchmeat.

Ortega black beans were wiped clean- very few seasoning packets left (4 to be exact) except guacamole and hot & spicy. Taco sauce is 1.19 for a small jar or 1.49 for the big bottle- so 1.76 for 4 of the small ones or 2.96 for 4 of the larger ones. Good price in my book.

I buy my beef at Target when they put the coupons on the package- makes for cheap meat and I fill the freezer. I buy all my pork at Beutler's downtown off Wabash Ave. Freshly butchered pork- and its cheap too. Supports the local farmers. Tastes much better than the stuff at the grocery store and less preservatives too...

b_kleenex what is your $1/2 deli fresh? I couldn't find any except for an extremely small amount of booklet coupons on ebay.
