SO I was excited when offered the opportunity to try the NEW Gain® Dishwashing Liquid! I hadn't had time to put those great $1.00/1 coupons to use that came out in the PG 8-29 to use so I hadn't tried it yet. I opened the bottle and gave it a sniff, sniff and was pleasantly surprised with the light airy fragrance of the original scent.

I poured a dab and started my dishes. I must say my excitement to try the new Gain® Dishwashing Liquid was all the encouragement needed to complete the ever dreaded task of dishes. Am I the only one that finds myself washing dishes at least 2-3 times EVERYDAY?! AND...I have a dishwasher to top it off! Kids, gotta train em...

But me, I do last nights dishes most mornings...so I catch myself washing them some b4 putting them in the dishwasher just to ensure they all come out to my satisfaction (and bc people don't know how to rinse)... Then I hand wash any really large items..

Right away I noticed the bottle was a few ounces larger than my normal brand...(I am not brand specific on most things but I do prefer a good dish soap and I have had that stocked from a great price savings deal)

I noticed right away as I began washing that the fragrance was stronger as I washed. It was not bothersome...just something I noticed. The smell reminded me of a mens cologne or body wash...it was different but good smelling...

I was apprehensive that it would cut though grease bc I have only found one dishwashing soap to do such a good job but to my surprise it performed very well. I was very happy with the performance of this product as it did a great job on the many very dirty dishes from last night! Thanks to P&G and MyBlogSpark for letting me try this fabulous product! I just can't wait to get out there and get more!

Remember the $1.00/1 coupons to use that came out in the PG 8-29 expire on sept 30th so you will want to use those up to stock up on this product possibly FREE. Many stores such as Walmart and maybe even Dollar general or Family dollar have this priced right around $1.00 so FREE after coupon! The only negative about this product is that I found I did have to use a little bit more than normal to get the stated results. But I am sure the larger bottle makes up for that..

You can enjoy the intoxicating smell of Original Gain from the first fork until the last glass. Dirty work has never smelled so good!

Not sure how to calculate percent saved?? Simply Take the price you paid and divide that by retail price=percent paid...Then minus the percent paid by 100 and you will get Percent saved!

FYI your price savings receipt must have a minimum of 10 items on it..no hurry though you have a full week to get the best receipt!
Keep in mind that receipts that show a majority of the same item purchased may be unfavored for those who are more creative with their savings...
but receipt has to fall within 9/24-10/1/2010 and I will be posting all receipts once winners are announced..

On another note:

As this is a trying time for MPS with me needing to dedicate so much time to the new development some days I am not able to post a whole lot. I have been holding these contests in an effort to get us thorugh this transition time, have a little fun and to encourage others to contribute deals they find as well!

I am very surprised that our contest/giveaways don't have a better number of entrants. I thought this one was easy enough to complete and would be fun!

Please let me know what type of contests/giveaways would interest more people..

THANK YOU for all of your efforts.

As to this contest....for me, this was a lot of effort....... I find it challenging to keep track of how many posts I post (this required 10). I don't know what you are considering a "post" --- a deal, a "me too" post or what exactly?
I didn't buy 10 items from any store this week. Meijer will only accept 2 like coupons to double in my area so I have to break my purchases in to multiple transactions.
I wasn't sure how to get you a pic of my receipt. I don't have a camera phone and it seemed a bit cumbersome to take a pic with my camera, upload the pic with the little disc thingie, create an email to you and add it as an attachment.

In short, it was too much to do for a $5 gift card. (I don't wear T shirts). I hope that doesn't sound harsh, but you asked, so I thought I would take the time to post.

Your site is set up much differently than other sites. As I am sure you are aware, on other sites contests typically consist of a post wherein you post one or more posts for a "chance" based on the parameters the blogger determines. The winner is then picked by random number.

As I have mentioned via private emails when I first joined MPS, this site is set up MUCH differently than the typical blog....so there is a learning curve....one that requires a considerable amount of effort to overcome (IMO).

I appreciate and like the site, but I think that there would be less "lurking" and more posting if it had a familiar feel and look to all the other blogs. Likely, looking like everyone else is exactly what you don't want....but it does have a foreign and unfamiliar look and feel to other blogs.

I hope that you take this post in the manner it was intended....just my opinion from someone who appreciates your blog and posts and wants to see it do well......

I think more straight forward giveaways would get more entrants. e.g. one entry per person, answering a question (what do you like best about the site? How do you feel about ----? etc. , with the winner picked at random. Do you have any "freebie" food coupons you could giveaway? Do any of your readers have etsy sites that they want to promote and giveaway a product? Do you earn Swagbucks to be able to giveaway $5 Amazon cards? HTH.
