I appreciate your preview of the Kroger ad--it sure beats waiting until Saturday night after midnight for them to appear on kroger.com (which I generally do).

Quick question--I guess you're from around Toledo? I ask because my local Kroger is in the Detroit area and stores in that area don't have the 1/2 Price Kellogg's cereal sale*, but a quick search of Kroger's web site revealed that Toledo area stores do have it. That ticks me off.

* (Detroit stores do have the "4 boxes/2 gallons of milk for $12" deal but that doesn't work for people who live by themselves like me. I need 10 days to go through one gallon of milk.)

That's true, if only I had the freezer space... Mine is filled at the moment with sale-priced (and vaccum-sealed) meats, two frozen pizzas and some frozen dinners.

Here's the deal I did yesterday for 85 cents (Detroit area):

All from the megasale (had to buy 10 items)

4 boxes of mom's best Naturals cereal (used 4 IP coupons off their website to make this 24 cents a box)
1 pouch of tuna fish 49 cents (had a 55 cent coupon, made it free and got the overage)
5 boxes of krusteaz cookie mix 99 cents (used 5 $1 coupons from Sunday's paper, got the overage

I gave away some of the cookie mix to someone else before I left the store, I don't need that many mixes, I like making them from scratch. But I needed to get those to get 10 items to get the cereal for cheap.
