Walgreens Savings!
I haven't posted a whole lot here but I do use this site a lot. Thanks for all the matchups I was able to save almost $60 bucks today at Walgreens. I am not good at pictures but I am attempting to post, to inspire others to save money

I spent: $1.75 total including tax which was $1.29
I saved $58.90!!!

Thats for 16 items (I only bought the chalk bc my nephew is coming over, but it was still a good deal and my tax alone costs more than the chalk itself!)

The retail on the pens alone says $3.99 WOWO

Thanks so much for helping us all save. I really need it! Oh yeah and I can submit for the rebate on the back of the pens and so I will actually make money! YAH!!

RE: Walgreens Savings!
You did great!! There wasn't even a sale sign near the pens at the store I went to, and it actually said 4.19! But they did ring up on sale so I grabbed a few also!

Someone should sticky this thread so we can all post our wags great buys in one place!!

I LOVE to SaveDollarbill

Hugesave I did Great!~Walgreens Savings Trips!
I am new here and could not find a bragging thread so I'm here. Please move if there is a proper place for this. Made a transaction or two at Wags this morning and it turned out alright. Check it out.

Well it turned out as bit disappointing at least to me today at wags.

I picked up 15 U by Kotex,
15 Walgreens A-Z vitamins,
15 Ecotrin,
15 Luster tooth paste,
15 Rejuvicare Supplements,
18 Kraft BBQ sauce,
20 Butterfinger candy bars,
19 Bumble tuna 5 oz.
1 Always maxi pads,
1 reese’s PB,
1 Reach Floss and coffee and a sandwich at McDonalds.Total Sale price of $399.50, I used $63.17 worth of coupons.

I had a total OOP of $9.24. It took several transactions to find the Butterfingers to use as fillers which cost me about $4.00 +/- more than I should have spent but what the hell. Once I got going the transactions went like this I had 11.50 in RRs used to by 1 each of Ecotrin, Luster, Kotex, Vitamin and a Kraft BBQ and use a $2.00 coupon on the Ecotrin and a $1.00 coupon on the Kotex, total OOP for this transaction was $0.28. I took the $11.50 in RRs from that Transaction and purchased the Rejuvicare,1 tuna and 2 Butterfingers (wags coupon in ad for the tuna), this transaction cost $0.18 OOP. Then roll until you are out of coupons. Here is what it looks like

Have not figured out how to load a pic yet..

Don,t make the same mistake I did and experiment until you find a friendly roll. Nothing better than a bunch of Butterfingers. Oh I made 30 transactions at 17 stores. More proof that I am a total Loon. Good luck.

There are 2 ways to load a pic. This first way, If you are doing it from a URL is to click the icon that looks like a mountain with a sun next to the globe with chain at the top of the box here where you type the message

The second way is to click the browse button at the bottom of the page just above the "Post" buttons, when you have loaded the pics you then click the "add attachment" button before Post

When I was first reading, your bounty obtained, I was like wow, I wish I could find a walgreens with that much in stock Wink then I got to the part about 17 stores. and then I am like wow I wish I had 17 stores near me.

In order to succeed, your desire for success should be greater than your fear of failure.

RE: doing well at Wags
I am in the Saint Louis Area and there is 5 Walgreens within 3 miles. the 17 were all within 14 miles and I drive a company car and don't pay for gas. a perk for being on call 24/7

RE: doing well at Wags
Why did you have to go to 17 stores? Did Walgreens not let you do more transactions or just low on products? I have 2 where I live and usually can get everything at one.

RE: I did Great!~Walgreens Shopping Trips!
i don't belive in wearing out my welcome. I have a good relationship with most of the checkers I deal with and they tell me that they really don't like the couponers that come in and empty the shelves of product. I would rather spread it a round over several stores and leave plenty of product for all the other shoppers out there. I almost always get a smile, wave or friendly hello when I go to Walgreens. I preformed Store evulations at Walgreens for several years (mystery shopping) and although that type of greeting is expected by Walgreens management it is not all that common.
