Hi! My name is Christa. Sissylyne is a childhood nickname. I live right outside of Lafayette. I have 2 boys. An almost 5yr old who is moderately autistic and a 3 1/2 year old who has some issues also.
I am a housewife on a tight budget. Which makes me a couponer. My husband does not support my coupon habit. He doesn't understand couponing and never will. I have tried and tried to explain to him how buying lots of peanut butter at $.30 cents is better than $1.50 every week and a half but he still does not get it.I have couponed for about 5 years but have only really put effort into it for 3 1/2 years. I moved here about 3 1/2 years ago from a small town. You can't coupon very well if you don't have stores to shop at. I just recently stepped up my couponing. I use to miss out on a lot of deals by not having a coupon list ready at the start of the week. I would just look at the matchups whenever, sometimes there would not be enough time to order coupons. About a month ago my husband made an unwise investment which put us in the red. So now I am doing matchup work. We are fine money wise now but I need to keep up on my couponing. Even with coupons I normally spent $150-$200 a week, now I am down to $100-$150. About 1/2 of that is just to feed my husband. I love Meijer, really really love it. It is the store nearest my house. It gives my kids free cookies if I am daring enough to bring them with me. I also get the best deals there so that may be why I love it. I also shop at cvs, target, kroger, walmart and wags. Target is my clearance love. Hmm what else about me. I rarely watch tv. I am always on my laptop. I have never seen the extreme coupon show and I do not have a baseball card carrier nor do I plan on having one. I am an extreme coupon rebel! I may have a coupon obsession. I don't deny it. I am a thrifty cheap ass. I would love to see more talk here

RE: Hello from, me!
Hello from Lafayette as well
![]() My name is Tina. I am a SAHM to 4 kids. 2 girls aged 6 & 4 and 2 boys aged 2 & 4 months! Whew! Exhausting just writing that! My closest store is the southside Walmart. I LOVE their new policy so the majority of my time is spent there w/other ads & awesome coupons to score overage!! I have about 4 cashiers that know me now & "chat" at the register with me. Occasionally I venture out to Meijer (yuck right now with their register updates & loss of 2 great managers), Target (go to the young cashiers there), Kroger (mostly 231 store but occasionally Greenbush) and most recently Marsh (YAH for triples!!!). This summer is an active one! My girls are keeping me busy w/T-ball, Gymnastics, Swimming, 3 camps & speech therapy for my oldest. Add that on top of Dr. appointments for the little one, camping/outings with the family & no sleep for me!! AHHHHH! DH & I just had our 7 year anniversary together <3 Of course we went to Logan's Roadhouse on Memorial Day Weekend using the BOGO coupon & a Gift Card we got for X-mas. LOL. Gotta use those coupons where you can! I first started couponing when I was 17-ish (am now 28) but got into it more after my 1st child. Diaper/wipes prices started adding up & I realized coupons were everywhere. It's harder now for me to get out so you may see me out at 10-12 at night w/a baby in tow (nursing makes him be attached to me wherever I go). LOL. If not just with him, then you'll see me with a toddler in the cart, a baby strapped to the front of me & 2 little girls running like crazy around me! I'm noticing LOTS more shoppers in Lafayette so i'm hoping more of you un-hide yourself & share w/us Also--I am NOT one to clear the shelf so if you see it empty--IT WASN'T ME! LOL
