I have made this. It is just like Wendy's I love to make it.

2 lbs. ground beef
1 tbsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 rib celery, chopped
1 large white onion chopped
1 large green pepper chopped
1 can(6 oz) tomato paste
2 (15 oz) can kidney beans, undrained
1 tbsp chili powder
1 can (64 oz) tomato juice

In large pot, cook ground beef in large pieces. While cooking add, salt, black pepper, celery, onion & green pepper. When beef is browned, drain off fat.
Open tomato paste, pour in bowl, fill empty can with water and add to paste. Stir. Add to beef. Add beans, chili powder & tomato juice. Stir well. Simmer covered for one hour. Serve.

MMMM sounds soooo good. I still don't understand why my son picks the beans out of the chili. The beans make chili, chili lol I might have to cook this tonight. The recipe sounds soo good.

Lol I have never had anyone pick out the beans either. But my gs will not give chili the time of day. I feel like I could have it given to me in my veins. I can eat it 24/7. Do not know why I love the taste so much. It is my comfort food. It is my fun food. It could be my only food.

I will have to try this one in my crock pot. YEAH!!! If someone has some good crockpot ideas..I would love for you to share :-)
